carsntrucks4you
This it I was looking for a special car. Some may thought that is is conversion for a VW Beetle like the fiberfab, but it isn't This was the only sports car that was build in the former German Democratic Republic (GDR) and it was an independed manufacture. It was not ruled by the socialist SED regime in East-Berlin. This is a Melkus RS1000. The son of Heinz Melkus is still producing the RS1000 today. Ace-Garageguy
I've seen worse.... That takes some effort, but it sorta has that ugly puppy, almost cute thing going on. Hard to be too mean to it. I'll have to sit this one out too. Thought I recognized it, but did a reverse-image-search. I was wrong.

peteski
Well, Trevor, you just ruined this for all the others trying to guess. But you are new on this forum so you just didn't know any better, and Michael didn't include the usual instructions in his post. Normally you PM your answer to him and then at the end of the week he posts a list of members who provided the right answer.
DonW
Can I suggest we carry on as normal on the grounds that not everyone will have seen Trevor's comment and those who did can surely be trusted not to participate (as per Bill's honourable self-exclusion due to his reverse look-up)?I maybe motivated by the fact that I believe I'd got this one right yesterday and want to see my name in lights! Ace-Garageguy
I never would have guessed in a million years that somebody built a sports car with a 3-cylinder 2-stroke Wartburg engine.
