426 pack Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 We have a tie so it looks like it will be a van with an inline engine.
iamsuperdan Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Should do a revised poll with only those two options.
Belugawrx Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 How many van kits are available ,...like 2....
426 pack Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 How many van kits are available ,...like 2.... here are some that I know of.
Jantrix Posted November 2, 2017 Author Posted November 2, 2017 I imagine that big block caprice in the 2017 run is going to be hitting gas stations every 20 minutesObviously you don't know Zenrat that well. Trust me, he's planning for that.
Jantrix Posted November 2, 2017 Author Posted November 2, 2017 How many van kits are available ,...like 2....Don't forget our Asian manufacturers for the van concept. They have some interesting stuff. Between vans and panel trucks, there are more options than you think, you just gotta look around and get creative.
Jantrix Posted November 2, 2017 Author Posted November 2, 2017 Should do a revised poll with only those two options. Not a bad idea. Rather than another thread, lets just take a show of hands. Please post below.Vans or in-liners?
Jhedir6 Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Just wanted to know before I got to excited about the model.Just pic an inline Dave, save yourself the worry over whether or not its a van or a sedan.
Jhedir6 Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Not a bad idea. Rather than another thread, lets just take a show of hands. Please post below.Vans or in-liners?Inline for me..... I have no vans in my stash and honestly have no interest in them. Obviously there's many that do, but not me. Besides I have all these parts for an inline project I was planing on anyways so a CBP with that theme will work well for me. Winter's coming, things are slowing down around the house, now I need to get back to my Camaro for this years 'Ball.
Misha Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 My choice is for the inlne theme as it offers greater diversity in vehicle choices and places more attention to the mechanical side of the build. There are many foreign vehicles to choose from as well, making for a more interesting field of competitors. Cheers Misha
426 pack Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 I will pic vans as I already have plans for a build.
64SS350 Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Vans for me, if I can get one finished for a change. Yes, lots of choices for vans, tons of ideas too!
djflyer Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 (edited) I would have to go for the inlines - lots of possibilities whether oob or a transplant. Edited November 2, 2017 by djflyer
Erik Smith Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Inlines. But I have an idea involving a van already anyhow...
dave branson Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Just pic an inline Dave, save yourself the worry over whether or not its a van or a sedan. I voted 4 cylinder. However the vote goes I will be in, however if we went pro touring 2 birds 1 Hemi Charger

Going to get on that Charger soon I hope.

da_ashman Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 I vote inliners, If you add the 5 votes for 4cyl only to the inliners votes, its a vast majority.
StockBoresMe Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 I vote inliners, If you add the 5 votes for 4cyl only to the inliners votes, its a vast majority.but we can't forget 4 cylinder only opens up the boxer engines you would find in air cooled VWs, subarus, and porsches, as well as a handful of cars from manufacturers like saab and toyota
wrecker388 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 (edited) Vans! However I could make something work for Inline if it would win. Assuming that the Chrysler 225 Slant six would be included. I have 2 of those with no other ideas for them. lol. But vans are still my first choice Edited November 3, 2017 by wrecker388
Erik Smith Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Close so far...I count Vans=4, inlines=6 and I’m not sure if Dave Branson was voting for fours again or just telling us he voted for fours...;)I voted 4 cylinder. However the vote goes I will be in, however if we went pro touring 2 birds 1 Hemi Chargerand what does “2 birds 1 Hemi Charger” mean? Those 12-14 hour days are getting ya!
prostreeter69 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Inliners is my vote, but will try something either way.Jon
