kelson Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Finished this up a couple days ago,a nice Monogram snap kit ,model was painted Tamiya pure white. The taillights don't quite follow the shape of the body though.
kelson Posted November 3, 2017 Author Posted November 3, 2017 A couple more pics of the front end,i used the technique of masking the pentastar with BMF and then using a q-tip lightly dipped in thinner to remove the paint,i think I turned out pretty good.:
Lovefordgalaxie Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 (edited) Looks good. Very underappreciated car if you ask me. Edited November 4, 2017 by Lovefordgalaxie
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Looks pretty darn nice!!X2. The foil under paint technique can be tedious but the results are worth the time.
shoopdog Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Sweet looking Dodge you've built there, excellent work!
espo Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 As others have pointed out this very clean and well detailed. I like how you did the emblem and the little decals under the hood. A shame about the tail light lenses.
oldcarfan Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Love this. As I get older, I find nostalgia has caused me to see the cars I once ignored with new eyes. Also, as those eyes get a little less sharp, my fingers get a little fatter, and my patience gets less I am growing to appreciate those simpler, fun to build kits.
iamsuperdan Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 I love the 80s, even though it was a dumb decade.Excellent build!
smhardesty Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Very nice for a snap kit. Came out very neat and clean looking. 2 thumbs up!
