I believe the 1960 is a first year unibody car, while that Chrysler is a full frame car. I'm sure someone here can suggest a better chassis, maybe one of the Moebius Mopars.

One of the Mopars Moebius should make, yes, i.e. the 300F and G.

Besides being a unibody, the '60 Adventurer is a DeSoto, not a Dodge.

Yes you aare both correct but its going to be a custom with. The dohc 426 hemi and tubbed so in. True brickwood fashion im building it my way lol

I thought that only the Valiant ( note : not called "Plymouth" until 1962 ) was unibody for 1960 ? 

The then-new A-Body line was also the first line to receive an aluminium cast transmission case : the A-904-G .

I believe that the remainder of the cars lines were full frame until 1962 with the introduction of the then-new B-Body ; the C-bodies were unitised ( used a subframe through the end ) ; and the 1964 Imperial ( D-Body ) was the last full framed Chrysler .

I was off a year in regard to the Imperial . 1965 was the last of the D-Body ; the Imperial being 'absorbed' into the C-Body line in 1966 .

Off by a year again.  The last year of the BOF Imperial was '66.  '67 was a unibody C-body.

My bad its actually a 1960 dodge dart phoenix found the real one on barrett jackson in pinterest pics i do have a desoto adventurer from johan to hence the mixup sorry for twisting them in my head and on here

But the one pictured in your original post is still a '60 Desoto.

right track on the adventurer right kit's being crossed for sure looking forward to more ,have a barracuda im slow collecting revel parts for slow but going can't wait to see more on where your is heading.

This ones says dodge phoenix on it. Heck dont have any to double check. Til i get my stuff back from ex going of my pics but pretty sure this is the phoenix dart the desoto wasnt painted yet dang now im all confusedd

Youre probably right im the confused oneive got all but the imperial and theyre in various stages just dont have access to anything to look at right now have a pic of the phoenix 1to1 on pinterest doing all my posting on this tiny smarter than me phone dont even have my llaptop at present wifes holding everything hostage sorry for my confusion just so happy to be finally able to share some of my works especially here just got back in the groove when she flipped on me thanks for letting me know im mixed up though
