unclescott58 Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 Below is my recent built of an old Aurora classic, The Forgotten Prisoner of Castel Mare. This is a modern repop from Moebuis. Not an original. Always wanted the kit when was kid. Never got it. But, your never need to get too old. Now I have it, and I still think it's cool.
Little Timmy Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 (edited) I built as many of the old Arora monster kits I could get my hand's on as a kid. When Mobeus re-poped them I grabbed a few of the same ones .... like this... I wanted the "Slab" to look like Marble.... so I painted it with a feather, alternating between Black, Green and gold. I also did the "Hanging Cage" And "The victim " but I don't currently have any pict. of them. Love your take on "The Forgotten Prisoner" , It's one I couldn't find. Edward Gore Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Unclescott58, Cool kit! Little Timmy, Convincing marble effect.
Roadrunner Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 I had the Polar Lights re-box of the Forgotten Prisoner, but traded it to someone here.
bisc63 Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 I LOVED building the Aurora movie monster kits, and had Frankenstein's monster, The Creature from The Black Lagoon, Dr. Jekyll/Mr.Hyde, Godzilla, and this one. This is the one that fired my imagination the most for some reason. It was my hands-down favorite. Nice job on yours, and thanks for the memory jog!
