donb Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Wrapped up this week. Details: Exterior - Painted Duplicolor Light Blue and Duplicolor Clear and buffed out. Interior - Model Master Light Gull Gray with Gray embossing powder. Chrome areas are BMF. Wheels - Stock wheels, painted with Alclad chrome, with AMT Firestone Whitewalls. Engine - Detailed with plug wires and hoses. The master cylinder was detailed but fell off just before photo shoot. Still haven't found it, will just have to make one. Thanks for looking and comments welcome.

espo Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Beautiful looking build. The 1:1 car is one of my all time favorites and the kit was one of AMT's best efforts.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Real great looking Chevy. And great color choice. The wheels are also a nice day two choice for this car.
Slotto Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Nice clean build. Great color and killer job on the interior and grille.

misterNNL Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Great build of a rare Chevy. If I remember correctly the real cars were built using left over hardtop sections from the '61 model year paired with '62 convertible bodies. These were low production cars. I have seen several at car shows but only ever saw two on the road when that were new.
