You may buy the whole production run :D

just got an email from Revell Germany with the official list. only Auto related items are

1:16 Porsche 356 Cabriolet and Coupe

1:16 VW Beetle reissue

1:16 VW T1 Kastenwagen panel bus

1:25 2010 Mustang GT and GT500, 97 F150, Shelby Series 1, Viper GTS, all recent Revell USA stuff

1:24 VW MK1 GTi Pirelli. this one will get some new tooled parts like wheels and bumpers, and I believe it would have different tailights.

no mention of the rumored Land Rover or Ford GT Race car, other then the Porsche and the Pirelli GTi nothing else interests me

If you look at the 2nd link above (German IPMS), the Le Mans car is mentioned on their list as a reboxed Revell U.S. kit.

Looks like they're doing a road version of the 2017 Ford GT too. I'm looking forward to those. No new big rigs though.

It's merely the Revell US build 'n play Ford GT in a different box.

I'm cool with the 1/16 scale 356, but why would the cabriolet be a glue kit while the coupe is an "easy click"?

Wait a few years, and there will be a full "glue" coupe kit. I held out hope there'd be a panel version of the Type2. :)

That's a shame. Still, the Le Mans version is worth looking forward to.

And I thought D Revell ran off the 1/24 tracks last year w/the Porsche tractor & Panamera. Oh well, more $$ to spend w/the competition.

I've built the Porsche Tractor already. It's not too bad. Probably has great appeal in Europe and globally with tractor enthusiasts. I've ordered the Panamera 2. Hopefully it's not too bad.

When I bought the 1:16 Samba, it had already different parts in it, not to be used for the Samba, It was simply a matter of time the panelvan would come out. And I am glad it is here now; the only thing I need know is a 1:16 trailer....

I did "follow" the Review topic you posted of the Samba, but I don't think I ever went bk to look more closely at the parts images.

Hmmm, roof from the Panel onto the Samba...:

<_<   I'm safe by a decade, easy.

Now, that Porsche 956 engine should swap right into the Type 2, right? ^_^

I completely forgot I did that, but thanks of reminding me, I grabbed the pictures of the bumpers. It has the Euro and US spec bumpers, but on another sprue; voila: Panelvan bumpers.

And I like where you are going with the 356 engine..... :)
