Mark P. Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 I'm trying to find some info or line drawings so I can build another 1/25 scale AA Ford truck. Looking to scratch-build a frame but I lost my reference material in the move, and I'm looking for an old SAE article that comes to mind from YEARS ago. Somebody was building a 1/16 version, and I sourced my plans from that. Anybody know which issue this was? I can't seem to find much on the 'net; is there a good source of info out there? Thanks in advance!

Brian Austin Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 (edited) Russian газ-AA (GAZ-AA) trucks were license-built Model AA's, with running changes made over the years. In Scale Auto Enthusiast's truck column some time ago there were some газ-AA drawings published as Ford Model AA reference. The drawings were similar to this: http://www.armchairgeneral.com/rkkaww2/galleries/trucks/GAZ_AA.htm Here's a good source for Ford Model AA truck reference, including the various body types offered: http://aafords.com/aa-chassis/ Edited January 6, 2018 by Brian Austin spelling
