Chuck Most Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 I've heard several people point out the inaccuracies of the Revell Bronco's body. I think I found an easy way to fix it. Wheels and tires came from a Revell Dodge Ramcharger, while the brush guard and (modified) side steps are from an Aoshima Nissan Pathfinder.
espo Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 That's a great solution for a problem I didn't know existed. That would be cool in 1:1 also.
bbowser Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 I remember seeing one of these in 1:1 a long time ago. Neatly done!
skid896 Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Bonkers idea but works really well. Can't imagine seeing anything like this on the narrow English roads where I live.
Classicgas Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Very cool. Don't see the problems with the Bronco tho, body wise anyway.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 I like it!!! There used to be a hatch back like that around here on a jeep chassis. That was one of the inspirations for my Gremlin. Great work!!!
Robberbaron Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Redneck awesomeness!!! Haven't seen one of those in 1:1 in quite a while, but just Google "4x4 Pinto" to see how many of these things have actually been built in the real world.
HDDan Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 There was an eagle station wagon in my neighborhood that looks like this.
Snake45 Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Never thought I'd ever see a Pinto I'd call badass, but you've built it! Different and therefore interesting. Model on!
modelbomber Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 I just looked at youre photo gallery "madhouse" miniatures..................my jaw dropped stunning work !!!! WOW.

Cool build Chuck. Years ago me and buddy of mine took one and put it on a Jeep chassis...we were surprised at how well it fit in 1 to 1. It was fun to ride around in too.
