ranma Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 Thanks to Revell for making the '85 Oldsmobile 442/FE3-x Kit. I have already built one as plain , So the second is going to be a brougham.
Maindrian Pace Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 Nice start, I'm a sucker for half vinyl tops.
ranma Posted January 13, 2018 Author Posted January 13, 2018 Almost finished , Need to do some decal work yet. I thought the ride height looked way off on the blue copy I built so I adjusted that by sanding the front springs down some ,and cut the back spring down a tad as well.
KWT Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 Looking good! I'm gonna have to work out a vinyl top for mine. Gonna try to replicate the 85 I had after high school... Ugh I wish I still had that one.
American 185 Heavy Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 Not too bad if a build, but keep in mind that all Cutlass Supremes had wheel arch moldings, other than the 442 or Hurst. Also the bottoms of the front and rear bumpers were chrome and never body color on a Cutlass Supreme or Brougham. And the Brougham always had wide lower rocker panel moldings as standard issue from 1981 until the very end. Just some tips for you if accuracy is important.
