restoman Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 This poor old girl was the unfortunate victim of a cat-rollover... so after re-glueing the windshield and roof, I dusted it off as best I could and took some pics. I did this a couple years ago for a club build-off. It's one of the very few that I've ever done in less than a month. Fast building just ain't my thing! Box stock, with some home made wide whitewalls, it got it's colours from my wife's nail polish collection. The lacquer crazed the plastic a bit, but I really didn't spend much time prepping the body, so it's all good. I notice that the green is really starting to fade... Comments always welcome.
Renegade Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 A very nice period correct build. Great job.
Funkychiken Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 the dull sheen on the paint work looks realistic. Looks great!
misterNNL Posted February 27, 2018 Posted February 27, 2018 Nice to see a stock '32 tub. I very seldom see this kit built at all. Thanks for sharing.

Eric Macleod Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 This is my kind of model. I like the red wheels with the green body. Really nice.
Phildaupho Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 I am in the hunt for a Phaeton and yours makes me want one even more!!
Dave Darby Posted February 28, 2018 Posted February 28, 2018 Everything about this build works for me Great color scheme too.

f1ford48 Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 I prefer to see a stock version any time. and you did a nice job on this one, and good choice of colors
Lovefordgalaxie Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 Always nice to see a proper looking 1932 Ford Model 18. Those cars are so gorgeous I always thought to be sacrilege changing them from stock.
