B-B-B-Bad to the bone.B) Yep, Chrysler had QC issues galore but they made the best looking cars from the mid 50's through '60.

Very impressive ageing. Under hood looks like this poor old car was in a very damp environment. You even got the "Eye Brows" rusted thru. Where did you get the drum brake setup for the rear ?

Thanks, those are "Scenes unlimited" parts, very nice stuff they got there.

Great job!!! For sure the rust is very real. It could pass for a 1:1 quite easily.

I did something simmilar on a '57 fairlane, but mine had being just saved from the crusher, and brought back to life, but leaving the body, and interior weathered.

Impressive model and work!  How did you do the body rust?

Thanks Carl. It's nothing fancy, mostly dremel work from the inside, slow & easy. I use "Sophisticated Finishes" paint & then weathering powders, chalks & dullcote paint to seal it.

Really well done weathering.  What is your method for the flattened tires?  They look very convincing!

Thanks Bruce. The tires are done the old fashion way, with a candle. I heat it a little at a time pressing it on the table just as it begins to blister. Lots O' patience & practice.
