mustang1989 Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 Man that looks fabulous Steve!!! It's hard to believe that paint being that old will lay down that smoothly and the foil job is "all that" and a bag of party mix!!!

There are 4 coats of Duplicolor clear on top of it. But, it went pretty well. Steve

Eric Macleod Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 It was bound to happen. This looks fantastic.
David G. Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 Excellent work so far- everything looks great David G.
Rider Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 Wicked good work. This is going to be a real stunner when it's done.
bisc63 Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 The contrast provided by the foil is really waking that color up. That's a classy boat you got there! I'd love to see a satin black "faux vinyl" painted top on her to really pop those stainless inserts. Have you considered it?

I did get a fresh sheet of foil today, so I can get back on the task of foiling the rest of the body. Then I need to get on the interior! Steve

StevenGuthmiller Posted November 13, 2018 Author Posted November 13, 2018 The foiling is finished & the interior is getting close to finished. The nice part is, this is a curbside build, so once I'm done with the interior, there shouldn't be a whole lot left to do. Maybe finished before Christmas? The dash and steering wheel are basically done. Just have the floor to paint and carpet on the interior tub. Steve
Roadrunner Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 I want to be able to paint this good when I grow up.
StevenGuthmiller Posted November 14, 2018 Author Posted November 14, 2018 Just a couple more photos of today's progress. Got the headlights drilled out & ready for buckets & lenses. Interior is nearly finished except for a few minor details. Steve
