camarobuilder Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 (edited) I'm getting all the parts together for a replica of the old D'Agostino / Scavo Super Street Camaro. I have collected a huge amount of parts from Shapeways. The quality of their stuff is great. I'm currently working with them to 3D print a set of the Weld Alumastar wheels for me. I'll add as I build and collect parts. Edited March 28, 2018 by camarobuilder
camarobuilder Posted March 28, 2018 Author Posted March 28, 2018 A few 3D printed parts from Shapeways
abelaxe Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 I will be following this build! I placed an order with shapeways a couple weeks ago...Parts should be here soon.
Steve Osbourne Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 Hey Frank...I am so looking forward to your build. I've built this kit once before - basically stock and pre-3D printing & pre-Foose and am a big fan of 3D Model Specialties and TDR Innovations as far as they are offering to the big scale modelling community.
matthijsgrit Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 This should be good! From which sellers did you buy yor Shapeways stuff? I especially like the cage, seats, brakes and shifter...

camarobuilder Posted April 5, 2018 Author Posted April 5, 2018 Ron Olsen, from 3D printing does custom stuff. He's also from Shapeways. He's doing my custom wheels and throttle body. Just because you don't see a part available, you may want to ask. Ron has a huge amount of things that aren't on the site.

Without a doubt.Shapeways has some really excellent products.Like I said,I've bought some great pro mod cars from them, and I look forward to see what other drag parts will become available.
abelaxe Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 The only issue I have had with Shapeways is on the M/T drag radials I bought last month are not in scale. You might double check that so you dont have any surprises.

Ron Olsen definitely helped a ton! He created many parts I needed, from pictures I sent. He did the wheels, throttle body, fuel pressure regulator, and some other stuff, for this build. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1012599618789756/

Jordan White Posted April 13, 2018 Posted April 13, 2018 The one thing I will say is Shapeways is just a third party 3D printer, all the models are uploaded by individuals in their shops, so any issues related to scale or accuracy are due to the sellers.
Kronic Designs Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 Frank I will be keeping a eye on this build, I have two 69's that I will be starting soon myself.
