426 pack Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 The 1:1 car The roadkill General Mayhem is a 1968 Dodge Charger with a 707 hp hellcat motor and pure awesomeness. The model I will be using the revell 68 Dodge Charger kit, clearly scale hellcat motor and a pile of other parts from my parts bin. Comments welcome.
spencer1984 Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 Looking forward to seeing what you do with this, the General has ben on my to do list for a bit now!
misterNNL Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 Is that a resin cast or 3D printed engine ? I would think the plumbing and/or wiring for that is going to be very complicated.

I have never worked with resin so I’m still not sure how I will detail it.
misterNNL Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 I wasn't concerned about the material being hard to work with as I personally work with resin all the time. I was expressing concern about the complexity if the wiring and hoses that it takes to detail today's modern and very complex engines with all the computers and electronics involved. The transplanting of the Hell Cat engine seems to be a likely progression for the brand. Good luck and thanks for sharing.
426 pack Posted April 1, 2018 Author Posted April 1, 2018 I started working on the frame and rear suspension today. The rear axle is from an old nascar kit and the leaf springs are from the 68 Charger kit. ignor the tires that are on the model in the pic as they are just there to make it look like the 1:1 picture and I will be using a different rear tires. the model The 1:1
