Dave B Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 An old build of mine that I do not recall posting previously. Once again an old slot car body, although this time Japanese and maybe Midori. I fixed the rear roofline to reflect the short roof version and fitted it over a Gunze Sanyo '62 250 GTO. chassis and interior. Perfect fit, can be lucky sometimes. Sprayed with auto acrylic and decals from the parts box, of course!! Tks for looking. Dave

Silver Foxx Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 This looks great , I always enjoy looking at your builds .
89AKurt Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 I like it! You fabricate the sliding windows, and do they move? And what did you do with the Gunze body?
unclescott58 Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 Looks good. I like the '62s and '63s better. But, it's still a nice car. And you did a nice job building it.
Dave B Posted April 5, 2018 Author Posted April 5, 2018 Hi Kurt, Yes I did fabricate the side windows and no they don't move. As for the original body I gave it to a mate, the one that gave me the '64 body, although some years later. Regards Dave B
GlueTube Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 Nice job on a different version! Regards Brian KROON
Snake45 Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Absolutely beautiful! I'm not sure I've ever seen the short roof before but I like it a lot! Why doesn't someone make a kit or at least a resin body of this?
