cedarsales Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Grafted on the hood scoop from 69 Camaro and the wheels/tires are from the BM Camaro
Oldmopars Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Nice work, very 80's. I had a few Aspen/Volare` cars over the years, but nothing like this. Great work. I assume the owner of this would be rocking a Mullet, pack of Camels rolled up in the sleeve of his white tee-shirt and listening to Iron Maiden on cassette.
NYLIBUD Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Looks great.Theres a car you don't see very often..
espo Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Great paint and interior finish. The engine has all of the proper Street Racer goodies also. The right stance, the right wheels and tires, plus side pipes, those were the days.
David G. Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Excellent 80's Street Machine! Paint and detail work look great. David G.
unclescott58 Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 I'm one of those people who like Volares. Even to the point of buying one new in 1977. And I still think they are cool. As your Volare Duster proves.
restoman Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Nice job! A pretty good model can be built from that kit, as you've shown. I'm another of those guys that like Volares.
440 Dakota Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 great build love it, have had a bunch of 1:1 and would build another if they didn't all rot away
DumpyDan Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Man that looks great, did the rear wheels and tires come with the kit?
Bucky Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Very cool! Color is just right for this one, and the interior compliments that, well. I owned the first cousin to the Volare....1977 Dodge Aspen SE with T-tops. They were cool cars!!

montecarlo1980 Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 Now that is cool as all get out!! I dig the build, that scoop came out perfect and nice touch on the windshield washer fluid.
ewetwo Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 Nice. What do you use to smooth the seams where the scoop meets the hood. :-)
RAMBENNA Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 looks very nice you did a great job, great color too
