MrObsessive Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Good start on the engine...........those headers DO look nice! Can't tell much from the interior as the pic is too dark on my end. You're starting with what's in my opinion, THE BEST representation of an A body from any of the kit manufacturers. MPC's 'Cuda comes in a very close second! Keep us posted!
my80malibu Posted July 26, 2008 Author Posted July 26, 2008 The Interior is painted a Gunmetal grey, I agree its a little dark I have considered respraying it in Aluminum. Body color is going to be Lemon Twist Yellow. I painted the wheel back's white (I remember this while growing up in the early seventies and have always liked it) . I still have a way to go this is such a fun car to build, Very basic but cool at the same time. Thanks for looking Gabriel.
randx0 Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 looks pretty good so far .I like the gunmetal for the interior and it will probably look even better when it is surrounded by yellow .
cotto Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 I like the body lines on that model, like Bill says, it is the most correct one. One of the guys here did one not long ago and I thought it came out cool. That thing was lowered down and the paint was immaculate. I own one of them myself, one day I will take a closer look and see if I can do something with it.
