porschercr Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 What can you tell me about Johnny Lightning kits, (quality, fit etc.?) Thanks, Trevor
SfanGoch Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Are you referring to these? They're regular AMT kits with a diecast of the kit subject included. Quality, fit, etc., are what you would expect from AMT, which is good all the way around.

I helped Dave Metzner develop the 1964 and 1994 GTO kits, when he was Polar Lights, and I was Johnny Lightning. In addition, we both worked up that JL 2004 Ford GT-40. SfanGoch Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 I know the GTO's and GT 40 were previously PL releases. Notice that the boxes are all labeled as AMT/ERTL, not Polar Lights.
