Lownslow Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 (edited) Getting the itch to mess woth model parts again, on my own terms. The idea is to catalog most revell tires and ill draw them up for 3D printing and host the files on my free site. Will consider requests as long as theyre not any torq based wheels theres enough of those ugly wheels on the planet. Need ID and Width in MM replied here. I generally draw 8 sets per size. I'm trying to figure out why you'd think there would be a need. It's not like any of us have a shortage of kit tires in the ol' stash. I think the horse is pretty well fed already.

I don't think he's making tires, but designing new wheels to fit all those extra tires we have in our ol' stash. I know you're offering to do the design work for free Frank, but starting off using inflammatory language like "Will consider requests as long as theyre not any torq based wheels theres enough of those ugly wheels on the planet" doesn't really foster a creative environment. I understand the sentiment you're trying to convey, but in saying it how you did may have turned people off.
Maindrian Pace Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 I can use a set of ugly 15" Torq-thrust II's to model my 1:1 Ranchero.

Force Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 American Racing Torque Thrust in different versions are probably among the best selling aftermarket wheels around, I don't think they are ugly...but they are way too common for my taste.

Because a full set is under 500$
Lownslow Posted May 20, 2018 Author Posted May 20, 2018 I did start drawing wheels, for scale motorcycles they figured it out the fastest. Yes the wheels are free but the print costs were your resposibility.
