Richard Bartrop Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 (edited) I think Bandai, or Doyusha released a large scale kit of this way back when, and if they wanted to re-release it, I would be quite okay with that. Edited May 30, 2018 by Richard Bartrop
MrObsessive Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 I had the 1/16 Doyusha kit of this several years ago, and now regret that I sold it. A fella from Australia got it from me, and now to find another one can cost some serious coin! Yeah, I'd like to see this reissued BIG TIME!
LDO Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 There's one on ebay right now, described as brand new. It's in Japan. I have no idea if it was recently reissued. $208 delivered.

Hmmm........if the shipping wasn't so high I might consider that. BUT! I could really go fancy and grab the Model Factory Hiro one! Smaller scale, but much more incredible detail than Fujimi's 1/16 scale one. Of course it's probably $100 more, but MFH kits are worth every penny!
Matt Bacon Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 Errr... what have I found? ;-P One of my "Grail" kits for a long time, but acquired for a great deal less than the numbers quoted above! The only flaw is that the wheels in the kit bear very little relationship to the deep dish alloy originals. They are engineered as two halves, inner and outer, that trap the tyre between them, which means that the dish depth is limited by the thickness of the outer half. Since they are so characteristic of the look of the real thing, I really wish I could find a replacement, but so far no luck. If anyone want to make some and put them on Shapeways, I'm in... best, M.
THarrison351 Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 Wow, that sound! Italians! Someone really needs to work on the decklid louvers though. They look totally hammered compared to the rest of the car.
