Joe Handley Posted June 10, 2018 Posted June 10, 2018 (edited) Has anybody here run across Fuchs wheels in resin, preferably with tires? I've got 2 of the Revell New Beetle snap kits, one I kinda want to build more like a tuner and the other in more of a rally or safari build, but want to put the Fuchs style wheels on them. Basically, I want to do these kinds of looks on them. But use wheels and tires more like this for the off road stanced NewBug Edited June 10, 2018 by Joe Handley
aurfalien Posted June 10, 2018 Posted June 10, 2018 (edited) Hi, These may do the trick; https://www.scaleproduction.de/product_info.php?info=p1429_15--fuchs-rsr-1973.html PS He also has 16", 17", etc... versions. Edited June 10, 2018 by aurfalien
aurfalien Posted June 10, 2018 Posted June 10, 2018 HI, Well he has a $17 euro minimum which is easy. However Randy Ditton/Model Builders Warehouse also carries his line and can get them I'm sure.
iamsuperdan Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Will a scale 14" work? http://www.clearlyscale.com/product/rs-fuch-classic-14-wheel-set-of-4
afx Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Gotta a Tamiya New Bettle kit complete and un-started if you are interested.
Joe Handley Posted June 15, 2018 Author Posted June 15, 2018 (edited) Thanks guys, ended up buying a Revell 914/6 kit at Hobby Lobby to steal wheels from, since it's supposed to have Fuchs in it and I might be able to mix them with a set of Pegasus wheel sleeves to get the look.
