Kit Basher Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 (edited) AMT kit. The paint is a mixture of Testors square bottle Maroon and Gloss Black. OOB except wiring, and I changed the quarter windows to clear plastic from a blister pack. Thanks for looking! Edited June 23, 2018 by Kit Basher
TooOld Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Excellent work ! The quart windows and wash on the grille really set this one apart from most !
OldTrucker Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Nice looking Fairlane! I do the same for the quarter windows when I add them!
Kit Basher Posted June 23, 2018 Author Posted June 23, 2018 Thanks, Brian! Thanks, Jim! Thanks, Bob! Thanks, Keith! Thanks, Dave! Thanks, Johnny!
Classicgas Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Very nice. I really like the exhaust toning. How did you do it?

Snake45 Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 Very nice, very clean, great color! Well done and model on!
Kit Basher Posted June 24, 2018 Author Posted June 24, 2018 Thanks, Christopher! Thanks, Cliff! Thanks, Marty!
Lovefordgalaxie Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 It looks great!! The windshield columns need to be foiled, as on the 1:1 they are wrapped with a stainless trim, and no body color shows. That feature, the Fairlane had in common with the same period Galaxies.
Kit Basher Posted June 25, 2018 Author Posted June 25, 2018 Thanks, Tulio! And thanks for pointing out that detail. I'll try to catch that on the next one.
