1938 Ford COE

My COE is done.  The resin cab is almost 1/4" thick in places.  No wonder I don't like resin.  Box is scratched with '50 Chevy fenders.  Pearl Ex antique gold covers everything.

Thanks Ray.  This is maybe the 3rd or 4th resin I've ever built and it's the last.  I don't like how thick these things are.

Some resin is much worse than others as I'm sure you know. I have had some that was no thicker than a kit body and others that weighed a ton and had to be trimmed with a chisel.

I thought the body would be much better since I bought it from a very reputable caster.

MAN!!  That is beautiful, absolutely love it... and the color is perfect !. 

 might have to cut something up and make one myself..

Thanks Dale.  It's actually a '38 GMC body from Jimmy Flintstone.  The box is scratchbuilt with '50 Chevy fenders.

This truck looks great! I know what you mean about the thickness on this cab, the one I built was the same way. I love the 40 Ford headlights, that's what I did with mine too.

looks great Jim. The cheaper they are the thicker they are for some reason.
