Oldmopars Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 My buddy and I were on a motorcycle trip in Easter Oregon, Idaho and Northern Nevada. I came across some nice trucks.
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 Looks like a 1935 Chrysler Airflow sitting next to that camper rig.
leafsprings Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 Thanks for posting. Those light duty tractors and small trailers were popular in the 30's-40's-50's, even though they many never be restored, it's nice to see history preserved as is.
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 (edited) Both the Dodge COE and the Diamond T tractors look to me like they might be runners. Both of them appear to have good rubber, especially on the rear. The Dodge COEs and Fruehauf round-nosed and winged trailers were still in wide use when I was a kid in the 1950s. Ace-Garageguy Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 (edited) I found another shot of the Dodge with her trailer...with the camper rig behind ! Edited July 7, 2018 by Ace-Garageguy
Jim B Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 Nice old trucks. Thanks for posting. Nice bike. What is that? It looks like a Versys.

The bike is a Rally Raid modified Honda CB500X. Great bike off road and a good road bike for solo. I have had it 2 years and enjoy it. However I have half the purchase price in mods.

I thought it looked like a runner. Everything seemed to be in decent condition despite its age. I could not find anyone to talk to about it, so I have little info other than the pictures. BTW I do have more pictures if anyone wants them.
Mopar - D Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 Wow nice old Dodge. I wish I could of seen your pictures when I was building my 39 Dodge custom hauler.
misterNNL Posted October 26, 2018 Posted October 26, 2018 Thanks for posting the crystal clear photos of these vintage units. The side damage to that Mayflower trailer shouts narrow roads and wide trailers. There is surely inspiration there for those forum readers wanting to build a period perfect tractor and trailer rig.
trick my mixer Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 Thank you for posting those super kool truck and car pictures. Would you happen to know where you were at when you took the picture of the old Carnation milk truck? Brings back memories of where I grew up at..Thank you again
