Hmm. What's the diameter of the 1/16 wheels with the tires? I'm thinking those might be just the ticket for a 1/25 scale Model T speedster.

EDIT - Sorry, should have checked your site. 1.44" might be a bit too big for that.

GOT MINE YESTERDAY, THEY LOOK VERY NICE.

I THINK THE 91% IPA IS A LITTLE TO STRONG FOR THE SPOKES, I SOAKED THEM OVERNIGHT & THE SPOKES SOFTENED & DEFORMED. LEARNING CURVE #1 :)

I'LL HAVE TO ORDER UP ANOTHER SET, BILL, WHAT DID YOU USE FOR PAINT ON THOSE?

Wow, so sorry to hear this.  some Shapeways users do short soaks in alcohol.  The distortion of the spokes may self correct if you let them sit for several days.  Shapeways recommends water based paints for their resin parts I always use Createx/ Createx auto air.  The specific paint is quicksilver.  It's fantastic stuff.  As for cleaning, try a good soak in Dawn and water or Simple Green and water.  That's it for cleaning.

If these are rendered in FUD of FXD (or whatever name Shapeways uses today), the waxy residue can be safely cleaned off with Bestine Rubber Cement Thinner (Heptane), or Ronsonol lighter fluid, or VM&P Naphtha.  Those chemicals will not damage the parts.

HI BILL, THEY DID SPRING BACK INTO PLACE AFTER SITTING FOR JUST A FEW HRS. DOES THE AUTO-AIR GO ON THIN?

HI PETER, I USE TO USE PURPLE POWER & WATER TO CLEAN 3D PRINTED PARTS. THEN I WOULD RINSE THEM I IPA AFTER TO MAKE SURE ALL THE PP WAS GONE

IT'S BEEN AWHILE SINCE I ORDERED ANY FUD/SMOOTHEST PARTS , SO AFTER SEEING POSTS ON HERE & FACEBOOK THAT PEOPLE WERE SOAKING THEM IN IPA, I GUESS I OVER DID IT BY SOAKING THEM OVERNIGHT.

Shapeways does not recommend any harsh chemicals for cleaning the 3D printed parts.  IIRC, they recommend a bath in warm olive oil and them rinse in Dawn dish detergent and warm water. In my other hobby (model railroading) we have been using Shapeways-printed parts for several years, and the modelers developed their own cleaning methods, better than what Shapways recommended.  Using IPA is not one of them. Bestine is the most commonly used washing agent, but there was a period of time when it was not available for purchase. Naphtha is a similar chemical, so it was being used  when Bestine was not available.  It works almost as well as Bestine (and neither will attach the parts, even after extended soaking).

Yes Auto Air goes o very thin with excellent coverage.  It's a two part process, Auto Air gloss black followed by Auto Air quick silver.  Do a google search and see some of the videos of this stuff.

HI BILL, I;VE SEEN AUTO-AIR USED IN PERSON, BEAR AIR USE TO PUT ON A DISPLY AT THE MASSCAR MODEL SHOW YEARS AGO, IT LOOKED PRETTY COOL, JUST HAVEN'T TRIED IT YET. THIS MIGHT BE A GOOD REASON TO DO SO
