This is a kit that I completed about 10 years ago. It's never been posted so I dusted her off and snapped some pics. Just before I was ready to click submit topic I realized and zooming in I spotted a defect, I never installed the turbo. So I had to take 45 minutes to dig out the box and look for it. But alas no turbo to be found, I even checked the box for my mixer kit with no luck. I decided to include one engine picture anyway.

I absolutely love these kits. I've never done the tractor version but this version and the Rex mixer version are amazing kits. Someday I'll take another stab at this dump truck, I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out but more could have been done in the detail department.

Nice build, as I said in the other thread, I've never seen a civilian truck with the military style NDT tires like this kit has for the rears.

Not that bad for such an old build. I agree, these Ertl kits were really nice, but the new off-road tires look look a bit odd. I am rather sure that these kits had more realistic tires 20 or 30 years ago.

Nice build. I've always liked the heavy duty frame and rear wheels on these kits. IMO, the best rear Budds ever made by big plastic. The fronts have a nice offset, but the design of the hand hole is a bit odd, too triangular of a shape, it should have matched the design of the rear with smaller football shapes.
