Phirewriter Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Awesome! As much as I like Torinos I found these to be much more interesting. Great job!
Mercuryman54 Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Great looking build! It's Fantastic! Love the Grabber Orange. I built a 1970 Shelby GT500 that color a few years ago. Dennis
bogger44 Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Very, very nicely done and those wheels look really sharp on it. Love those Cyclones.
Jon Cole Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Amazing how much the mid section of the Cyclone looks like a Plymouth Duster! Especially in the B pillar.
Sport Suburban Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Awesome build! I love the color and I have the same problem with my build. I just can’t commit to a color! This car looks good in so many colors!
Vietnam Vet67 Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Taken at this years Dream Cruise in Detroit..............
66belair Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Great build, I’m going to need to get one of those trans kits. We I was a lot younger I passed on buy a Mercury Cyclone back in the early 90’s.
Dragonhawk1066 Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Nice job on the Cyclone! Don't see enough of these in real life or in kit form.
om617 Posted August 21, 2018 Author Posted August 21, 2018 Thanks all for the kind words. For those who where asking for what color. I used this over white primer. TS56 Brilliant Orange.
vamach1 Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 Is the rear spoiler easy to remove? Look at the picture above for how the factory mounted them. You would be surprised how many real Fords I see with the spoiler facing the other way
Hmann68 Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Beautiful car, and it looks great under the hood too!
Ron Hamilton Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Tommy, your build is very nice. It is an inspiration to get mine going. I just bought a glue-bomb Revell 70 Torino for the engine, chassis and running gear, and I have an old glue-bomb Cyclone to get the rest from.

Thanks btw.
Tom Louis Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 awesome, inspiring, best looking build I have seen in a long while!

How,i even used the original brochure for referance I prefer straight forward. Used superglue since it is resin so not sure if i can correct it. The legs seem to be a bit long, after staring at it for some time.

I like Grabber Yellow to be different. I bought the Dash and Photoetch from Missing Link. I may go with a Cyclone GT in lieu of the Spoiler. I have decals as well as the grilles to do a 70 or a 71 car.
