Hard_2_Handle_454 Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Bought this a few months ago at Ollie's for $6. Despite it having rained every day for the past month I finally got around to building it now; the first week it hasn't rained. The kit itself isn't too bad for a Lindberg. My problem was the directions, which are photos of the model being built in black and white (painted) with descriptions of where to put the pieces. Kinda hard to tell where things go. I was also sad that there were no decals, even though the box shows decals. Still, it came out looking nice. bbowser Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Love seeing '20s and '30s iron on here! Thanks for sharing, looks really good.
Phirewriter Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 (edited) Excellent, built one with my dad when I was young, brings back memories. Got a couple on the shelf and will eventually (hopefully) build another to replace it. My cousin got in my dad's display cabinet at a family event many years ago and destroyed a number of his models. Definitely one of Lindberg's better efforts, you did this one nice! Edited September 2, 2018 by Phirewriter
sjordan2 Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Great job. I didn’t know the kit was so nice, either.
espo Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Very elegant looking Mercedes. very clean looking build.
olschoolkid Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Nicely built. I have the same kit that I also bought at Ollie's. I agree that the directions are very basic and don't explain the steps too well. Overall I think you did a good job.
