fordlover632
I bought this pickup at a swap meet last year on valentils day and I think I got it for 5 to 10 bucks. When I bought the kit it was all done but I didn't like it so I took it apart but I left the chassis color because it looked good. The body was yellow but I did not like the yellow so I sanded it done good enough for the primer. Then when the primer was dry I put 2 or 3 coat of testor gloss black. Then I let the paint set for 1 day or 2 days then I used testors high gloss clear coat then I let the cleat coat dry for 3 days. Then I put the body on the chassis put the bumpers on and the grill then I was done with it.oh and I painted the engine bey and the underside of the body testors flat black. mikemodeler
You took a kit that lacks detail and accuracy and made it very nice! Great job, too bad they didn't spend some time on making that kit a better representation of the real thing.
