crazyjim
Finished this guy yesterday. It's built right out the box and I used Tru-Color arctic white.

Lovefordgalaxie
I'm disappointed. The colors are not Crazy Jim accurate Looks like it was built by a guy called Stock Jim. Who are you, and what did you do to Jim?? The car looks great by the way

StevenGuthmiller
I should mention though Jim that the "scoops" below the headlights are not turn signals. They were a vent that was painted red. The turn signals were located in the lower bumper & had clear lenses. Steve
crazyjim
Thank you Gary, Tommy, Tulio, Lee, Steven, and Lloyd. I don't often build box or factory stock. I built this one for an IPMS review. The directions called for red on the front but it didn't seem right to red on the front of a non-emergency vehicle. My searches did not come up a correct color. I can easily change to red. I made the turn signals amber so they would stand out from the chrome bumper. There were no clear lenses in the kit. Thank you for the info, Steven. I also see the headlight bezels were body color that I'll try to correct.

crazyjim
Thank you Gene. I used BMF on everything except the plated bumpers, hubcaps, mirror, antenna, and taillight housings.

I have one of these kits that I have never built & I guess I didn't realize that there were no turn signal lenses for the front bumper. You're right, the red is a little strange for those vents. I never really understood why they were like that. But, all that aside, I really like this model! I'm thinking now that if or when I build mine, white is a very strong possibility!
