Calling this one finished.  Thanks to gardnerpag44 for all the parts I got from him to finish this truck out.  

My first time tubing, scratch built a few other things also first time using sophisticated finishes. Thank you Mchook for the advise as well.

That's a tuff looking little truck. Great Patina, not over done and the perfect flat finish. The wheel tubs look natural in the bed. I'd love to see the power plant on this, and the interior.

I had a real 1950 F-1 out in the back yard for about 20 years, and the finish on it looked just about like the finish on this one!!! It looks great!!

I really like the use of the banana stickers on the doors!!

That's a great looking truck!!! That's some nice weathering too, I can never get rust to look right on a red paint job but you sure can. Great job, I can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Are those actual banana stickers?? Brilliant! Never would have thought of that, but it works perfectly with the patina theme. Very cool idea and great execution.

I also dig how the backdrop looks a bit like a mid-century modern roofline...but now I see it's actually the bottom of an illuminated sign. Neat!

those are actual banana stickers.  I had the idea awhile back and just was waiting for the right opportunity to use them. I didnt know for sure if I was going to leave them or peel them to reveal the old paint underneath.  As I was working with them on and aging them I decided to leave them and led me down this path.
