1982 Datsun 200sx Hatchback

A poor kit from Fujimi in the early 80’s, but the 200sx hatchback is rare to find for me. It’s nastalgic; It was the first car my dad owned when we moved to Canada from Iran (I was 3).

I drove a 200SX back in '82. A two-tone blue metallic like this one:

I had a problem shifting the gears, but it was a fun car that ran well.

I remember one day in heavy traffic, the horn contact started sticking. The car would literally honk intermittently for the next 20 minutes until we got home. I was both laughing and horrified at the same time. Now, in hindsight we should have pulled over and pulled the horn fuse, but I was 4 and my dad is an artist...
