Hello everyone.  I was thinking about replicating a spray in bed liner in an 89 F150 I'm building. It's far from box stock, as its bed floor has been raised. I was wondering what you guys could think of that I could use. I want the inside of the bed to be matched to the body color. Any ideas would be great!

Textured spray paint, (white if they have it, Home Depot, Wal-mart etc.) Then top coat it with the body color.

I recommend Rustoleum textured spray can # 239119. I just used it successfully on a scratch built '30's travel trailer roof. I used a flat black top coat then buffed it lightly to a satin finish. It's available at Wal-Mart.

I only used Testors gloss black, with the minimum of thinner, and lowest of air pressure.  I tried to do the worst orange peel ever.  Since you wanted to match the paint color, seems like the best bet, and save your money for something else.  Be sure to fill the corners of your bed before doing any painting!
