Koellefornia Kid
Hi modelers, today, I want to show my Monogram ´57 Chevy Nomad Custom. I shaved all handles, emblems and most oft he trim, removed the hood ornaments and smoothed the peaks. I scratch built a custom bullet grille by using bearing balls of two different sizes. The Chevy was lowered and sits on custom wheels borrowed from a Jada die cast. The interior features a wooden floor in the rear and scratchbuilt Fuzzy Dices. I also tried to replicat a tuck´n´roll upholstery, using half round Evergreen styrene profiles. The wired engine was topped with a resin Cadillac air cleaner. A set of Appleton spot lights from my parts box and a scratch built club plaque completes the traditional custom look. Enjoy: Comments welcome.
