Just picked up a Beatnik Bandit kit in a bag at one of our swap meets. No instructions and the noe chromed parts are molded in a almost clear cream colored plastic  . Any insight or information would be helpful

Thanks

Could it be a test shot with that stamp identifying the material the mold was sampled in? Sounds interesting, if you can please post pictures.

Also some 1980’s Hot Rod issues of the Beatnik Bandit were molded in a creamy pearl white plastic. It was sorta translucent, so I suppose that’s a possibility too. But that doesn’t explain the stamp.

I remember that kit now that you mention it, I might still have it I know I didn't build it.  I am going to keep my eyes open and maybe I will run into it.

Yes that's the one.  I am curious on if it is a different type of plastic (poly-something) and if you need to treat it differently than   the normal issued plastic.

I doubt it would be different plastic. It is likely just regular Polystyrene with different dyes/additives. Virgin Polystyrene is transparent and colorless.

Revell might be able to email an instruction sheet?

I actually found out that I have a newer boxed kit with instructions but need some for the Road Agent and Munster Koach I also bought as bagged kits with no decals or instructions
