Motor Trend writer Michael Lamm got it right in 1975 when writing about future collectibles; he predicted that these winged wonders would be "tomorrow's Auburn Speedsters" and that folks would be building replicas of them.

The winged warriors have been my fav muscle cars since I first read an article in Car And Driver back in the mid 80s. That black Hemi Daytona article just hooked me.

1  buy hemi orange superbird with 426 hemi at barrett-jackson and watch the millionaire car collectors clutch their chests as I smoke the tires in the parking lot!!

2  install new rear tires...repeat!!
