I love these little cars!!, and it looks like you're doing a GREAT job of it!!   Japan orders have been slown-down a bit because of a typhoon that hit the island. I was actually surprised that my orders came in at all......when I finally found out what happened, I ordered from another place just incase.....I now have back-ups...lol   -Keep up the great work!!

those rims do look good on the car and i might leave them black because the bod color is going to be Nissan midnight purple what do you think.

It’s been 3 months I think. Here’s a update on the 510 I got he base and clear on.

The color is Nissan mind night purple and the clear is 2k clear by splash paints same thing with the color I buffed and cut  the Clare I used 3 stage polish from splash paints.

I put the door panels on and sand them to make them fit good do not have a picture of it. Doing the radiator hose were hard to do but the spark plug wires were easy to do some with the fuel lines. With the fuel lines I cut on smaller to tie in to the other fuel line. I routed the fuel lines on the fire wall. I painted the top of the shifter purple to look the same as the body (don’t think I have a pic of it).

Here is before I wet sand the body which is pretty smooth but had a bunch of junk in it

Here is after I cut and buffed the clear and it came out good I say. but I have to redo the top there is still some dullness to it. And it was my first time doing it. There is still low spots in the clear because I was to scared to burn through the clear and cold. But I I’m happy with it.1C251F00-BAF9-402D-A65A-3C105EE012A2.jpeg.167fe0fd3608a58ac58118aa6437b28f.jpeg25AE01EE-41B8-4490-96A7-20F8A6188C96.jpeg.4957915bc446d706916dcf2af954c735.jpeg7D34F54D-5B63-4914-B97E-25A61705B0E5.jpeg.88ec9d60c324adbe17685dc91a8e16a7.jpeg

Awesome!

that paint looks WET! I'm impressed by the shine you got on it.

You made the right choice with the wheels. Black would be good, but a dark gold would contrast well with the body colour. Or a gunmetal with a hint of gold.

engine etc. look spot on
