crazyjim Posted November 21, 2018 Posted November 21, 2018 Here's my latest - a 1967 mercury Comet in Tru-Color teal blue.
cobraman Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 There is that Crazyjim interior I have come to expect ! Very cool model Jim. Great job !
GaryR Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 NICE!!! Good work on an underappreciated car.
Hmann68 Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 Sweet looking car! How do you crank em out so quickly yet so nice? Nice work ?
Bucky Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 Now, that is one nice looking Mercury!! Well done, sir!
Sledsel Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 That thang looks sweet. The driver must be really short though...... HAHAHAHA
crazyjim Posted November 22, 2018 Author Posted November 22, 2018 Thank you Ray, Gary, Guido, Carl, Nick, Christopher, Keith, Phil, Chris, Steve, and Andy. I'm retired and spend several hours in my shop everyday building models. There's always 3 builds going on my bench.
Classicgas Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 Nice. Great color. Wish I hadn't traded mine. One suggestion, paint the caps and clamps on the battery.
bbowser Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 Very cool, that color suits it. Did you make the rear quarter windows or were they in the kit? Nice touch.
crazyjim Posted November 22, 2018 Author Posted November 22, 2018 Thanks Bruce. Windows were in the kit but I would been better off using some clear acetate and made them slightly larger.
espo Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 Very very nice. Great looking paint work, and I like the contrasting interior colors. Dish Slotted Mags and the nose down just the way it was. Always like the Mercury Comet over the Fairlane at the time.
Dominik Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 like the color! the sunlight brings it out - beautiful.
chris chabre Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 Looks good! as a Comet guy, I always like seeing peoples take on them!
