k100 Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Hello All, I don't build to many car models mostly trucks , I'm going to try to build a model of an Nova SS that I had , I'm looking for a good set of Rally wheels like one in the picture. any help would greatly appreciated . thank you
MeatMan Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 I have a spare set from the Revell Camaro kit that I have extras of. These aren't as deep as the pic you show, but it is possible to take the centers out and glue them into deep rims. Also, I don't have the wheel backs.
espo Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 If you need deeper off set Rally wheels you might look in some early '70's Corvette kits. In the 1:1 world the passenger wheels could be had in both 14" and 15" diameter with different widths depending on application.
john sharisky Posted December 7, 2018 Posted December 7, 2018 Scale Equipment LTD sells excellent sets of those '68(and later) Chevy wheels. Each wheel consists of three pieces: center cap, rim and trim ring. This makes detail painting easier and more realistic. The center cap and trim ring come already chrome plated. John
