I'm not sure what category this would fit in to so I'm posting it here under General. I just happend to look up info on Zamboni and came across pages with info on the early ones. I suddenly noticed that they where built on Jeeps. What a great modelling idea I thought. Anyone here ever built one?

I think one could use the old MPC Jeep as a base for it but one would need more refrence material on the construction of the thing.

Here in the Toledo Ice Rink they  have a new Zamboni but before the new barn was  put up they had the Sports Arena. The old Zamboni was allegedly  built on a Jeep chassis, Not like the picture above completely. It had the flat sides but the top was open  so you would see the chain bring the snow into the hopper it was used until 2007. Well when they tore down the old Barn the Zamboni went missing. Bummer.
