Very nicely done. Are you going to put some non-V8 emblems on the hood and trunk?

I see the "ghosts" for mounting the V8 emblems, and they might require you to mount the real script a bit too low, or (arghhh) sand off the existing ones and re-paint.

I like the "shaved look", but as BigTallDad mentioned there is some differences with the emblems if your going for the showroom look. The picture of the Chevrolet lettering for the hood can be done with the decals in the kit you're building. The trunk lid had the Chevrolet emblem just above the License Plate on the trunk lid. The old AMT '55 Chevrolet kit has the perfect size and shape for that. The Revell '55 Bel Air kit may work but I have never checked that, so that may be another possibility. Revell offers a fairly nice 6 cylinder engine in some of its '50's era pick ups. From the outside the major difference would be the engine color as the passenger cars 6 was a medium Blue color with a semi gloss Black Air Cleaner.

Now I have to wait for the AMT '60 Chevy Apache pickup to supply the correct inline 6!
