Thought I might do something different. Allison V12 in a Jeep. 1710 cubic inches with around 1500 horsepower. Here is the pic that gave me the idea. Started the engine. The engine came from a amt parts pack from a long time ago. Hope you like

Have to change the exhaust. Might be pretty uncomfortable

It'd be perfect for the weather in IL right now! This looks like a great project!

Thank you scalepeter, Thank you bobthehobbyguy, Thank you Rusty92. Well after showing my friend Brian the Allison (he rebuilds aircraft motors for the Reno air race guys) told me to change some things. So the engine is apart and rebuilding a few things. Here is a example of what he does. He does working cutaways of aircraft engines also. I took a pic of the motor in his Torino. Hope you like.

I am curious what changes you are making to the engine. I have a couple in my stash for someday projects.

X2, especially how you are going to get the power to the rear axle.

Hello gentlemen. The changes are mostly cosmetic. Get rid of the chrome valve covers. In the Allison kit the wiring on the inside of the heads interfer with the blower intakes Etc. Too much chrome and  in the kit the whole thing is chromed. Going to make a transfer case. I am going to try to make it four wheel drive. Going to use some of the pieces of the drive train from the amt kit of Tommy Ivos freight train, And just adapting and changing as I go.
