ewetwo Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 I actually finished this kit in December. A Pro Shop kit so it makes even me look like a better than average builder.
ewetwo Posted January 14, 2019 Author Posted January 14, 2019 Thank you. Something was warped because the hood doesn't sit flat. The bodies are strapped down for years at this point. Might be why. I could try heating it and seeing if I could make it fit better. But I'm not that experienced of a builder.

When I glued it together one side of the front of the body and the frame didn't meet. So I clapped it together until it stuck thinking that would fix it. But then the hood didn't lay flat.Next time I run into this situation. I'll know to look a bit further into the problem. The tires sit flat in the table. I thought of possibly eating the whole bottom of the car with a blow dryer to see if it settles out. But a bit wary of doing that also. And thank you all again for your comments.

donb Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Sure looks great. Love T-birds and this is a classic color combo. Well done even though the hood is an issue.
ewetwo Posted January 15, 2019 Author Posted January 15, 2019 Thank guys but I can't take credit for the paint job as it's a Pro Shop kit.
