Started this project a while back.  The kit is a 70 BOSS 429, but i'll be using the engine and wheels from a 2008 gt500kr, hence the BOSS 329 (5.4 liter). I bought a glue-bomb gt500kr,  and I'll be using the parts from that

Found some nice fat tires in my stash, thought they'd look awesome on this build. had to cut the sidewalls out to fit the rims, and steal chrome rings from another set of wheels to give them a nice off-set. Also decided I'll be using the interior from a 2013 BOSS 302  that I bought just for the coyote engine when Hobby Lobby had them on clearance.

Tinted the glass, first time I've ever successfully pulled this off. I found the trick is to use  Tamiya and NOT modelmasters...

Also had to make some custom tubs for the huge rear tires

Great looking build. Perfect stance and the color looks perfect for this style of build.

Thank you. I hope I still have that cool stance once the chassis is assembled

Very cool build indeed Joe!!  The concept in itself is

a unique one for sure, and you put it all together so

very nicely too!

The color is just right for that car, the louvers look

great with that color.  The '70 and the '69 Mustangs

are my absolute favorites.
