Holy smokes. I finished something!

Not my best work, but I'm happy. If I'm going to keep taking pics, I really need to improve my masking skils. I see every flaw.

I built this to replicate one of my fav diecasts I had growing up.

As you've probably guessed, this is Revell's 1980 Dodge Ramcharger kit, with some 3D printed bits courtesy of Shapeways. The seller is on the forums here. Can't remember his name though.

The 3D bits are really well done, and fit with very little fuss. It's weird though. I sanded the heck out of that hood, but in certain pics, you can see waves, probably from the printing process. Ah well, can't see it in person.

I built it box stock, only adding the first aid kit in the back, fire extinguishers, the siren, and a radio. I have no idea where all the bits came from. Maybe the AMT Rescue Van?

And yes, I know I forgot to paint the lower trim and turn signals. :P

Anyway, here we go.

Nice job on that Ram,.. errrr Trailduster. I like the parts to convert it to a Plymouth. Not something you see every day. Really matches the Matchbox. Good work.

Well, great job. I am the one that asked Ricco to make the grill. My 74 Trailduster is just waiting on decals.

I like what you did, it looks great. Glad to see someone other than me wanted these.
