Kruzn Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 (edited) I'm going to put this here since it includes two dragster builds. It also includes a ramp truck and trailer. Complete race team! This setup was built over 35 years ago! The Chevy hauler features mild customizing of the cab, beefed up suspension with rear duals, and a scratchbuilt ramp deck and box. The trailer was also scratchbuilt using sheet styrene and parts box componants. The dragster is a short wheelbase front engine rail with blown hemi. The VW "funny" uses an unknown funny car chassis shortened to fit the stubby bug body which is hinged at the front. Also running blown hemi. I did not shorten the bug body. It came that way in some kit of unknown origin. In real life I'm sure the VW would be impossible to drive, but that's the beauty of creative scale building...anything is possible! dustym Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 Ill bet that VW would be as squirrelly as an altered. Very nice job on those.
