I finished the chassis.... steel wheels (I'm not if is GM wheels, if is possible someone help me on that), for dog dish, and redline Satco tires Daniel Edited September 16, 2008 by Daniel Lynch
Daniel Lynch
looks like you are off to a nice start! those wheels are Chevrolet wheels, but they are the Rally's which would be an argent silver color stock. the dog dish cap wont fit those in the 1:1 world, only the Rally specific cap. i say paint them the right silver, detail the lug nuts and axles centers and go with them. Dave Thanks Dave for the information, i reconize then lool very Rally wheels but i'm not sure, now i'm sure, i continiu my research into my part box! novadose71
Looks good Daniel, I've got one underway in the same color, it's almost like it's got a glow to it, very cool. Nice chassis too. I like the look of the gold wheels w/redlines, but if your looking to be correct the wheels should be silver. Either way I really like the look of the open Rally's. BTW Where did you get those wheels anyway? Keep on postin'.

The wheels are from a resin caster here in Québec, then now out of business. Someone where is possible to have a nice GM steel wheels? Kits or resins! Thanks! novadose71
I think Time Machine Resin might carry some, I know they have earlier style dog dish wheels. Good service too. http://www.timemachineresin.bravehost.com/

Jeff Johnston
I really like this one. I have a similar Nove in progress thats Autumn Gold...darker and kind of a greenish tint to the gold. Personally I think the capless Rally wheels look good, with just some chrome paint on the lug nuts. nice paint job too !

Raul_Perez
Yep...another nicely built Nova in the works... I may have to break down and buy one of them for my ever-growing collection of kits that I'll never live long enough to build.
