echo Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 This is an older build. It's a Jimmy Flintstone car I purchased at an NNL East show when Jimmy sold them with some white metal wheels, front end and exhaust. I attempted to portray a weathered salt flats car. My first attempt at weathering. It has no engine, I made an interior but it is pretty hidden by the chopped top.
fivesuns Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 There is beauty in its simplicity. I think you did a great job with the weathering
chris chabre Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 AWESOME!!! I have one of those bodies sitting here. Having raced on the salt, anything land speed gets me going
Straightliner59 Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 I LOVE this! Very, very cool. It captures the look, perfectly! Makes me want to play around with a lakes/salt car.
Breezy Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 The lines on this are awesome. This is one of the coolest models I've seen this year. Great job.
NYLIBUD Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 I always wondered if salt flat cars could be included in the drag racing section. And they should, cause it says anything that goes in a straight line...Excellent job.
ewetwo Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 looks great the the weathering look awesome too.

TarheelRick Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 An overall excellent LSR. Looks record-breaking fast just sitting there. Very good job on the weathering.
Nitrobarry Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 You could substitute "dry lakes" for Bonneville and that would work to. great job!
