Tim H Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 I am looking for a 12 bolt rear end for a project I am doing. Anyone know of a kit that has one I can get one from. Also looking for a nice detailed chassis for early 70s GM A bodies. Is there one out there?? Please let me know. Thanks Tim
Snake45 Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 If you want 1/24, the best I can think of offhand are the Monogram '70 Chevelle SS454 and '70 Buick GSX. Not sure about the rear ends in either, though.

MrObsessive Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 As far as detailed GM A bodies, you can perhaps look no further than the newly released Revell '68 Chevelle. Granted that one is 1/25 scale, but IMO that's one of the best detailed chassis to come down the pike that I've seen.

Deathgoblin Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 What about the AMT 1969 Cutlass/442 W30? That one's really nice and has poseable steering.

Tim H Posted February 5, 2019 Author Posted February 5, 2019 I am building a Monogram GSX. Just seeing if there was any better. I am looking to use the Monogram Chevelle streetrat 12 bolt but seems big compared to the stock 10 bolt on the GSX. I have used the AMT 69 442 Chassis under a couple projects. It is a great chassis. Anyone know about the chassis in the 72 Hurst/Olds? Tim

Tim H Posted February 7, 2019 Author Posted February 7, 2019 Casey, thanks for posting up that picture. it is very nicely done. Do you know who built it. I would like to know where they got the Buick engine red? Tim
